Why I Teach

Many of my family members have been teachers, and I think my grandmother, aunts, mother and cousins who chose to teach all influenced me in some way. I enjoy the interpersonal and social aspects of teaching, and sharing experiences with students, in particular study abroad, has always been invigorating. It is so exhilarating to see students delve into the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and become excited about what they are learning!
