St. Edward's University Recognized as the Top Producer of U.S. Fulbright Students
Austin, Texas — St. Edward's University is recognized as the top producer of Fulbright students among master's institutions, according to the
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program.
The recognition puts St. Edward's at No. 1 in the category of master's granting institutions, ahead of Villanova, Santa Clara, Drake and Elon universities, among others. Harvard, Pitzer and Princeton Theological Seminary also placed first in their respective categories.
During the past academic year, 26 students from St. Edward’s applied for Fulbright awards. Half of those students were finalists and 10 won.
A key component of the university’s strategic plan is to be a top liberal arts university by providing a learning environment that is academically challenging and rich with global experiences for students.
